Power BI Developer/ Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / Power BI Analyst to join the delivery team supporting Practice & Enterprise Systems (P& ES) applications for a global law company.

The role focuses on understanding, maintaining, enhancing and supporting Power BI reporting solutions used across business functions. The successful candidate will participate in knowledge transfer activities, analyze existing reporting solutions, provide operational support and implement improvements to Power BI dashboards, datasets and reporting processes.

Develop, modify and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and datasets

• Analyze existing reporting solutions and document business and technical dependencies
• Support operational activities related to Power BI reporting services
• Investigate and resolve report failures, refresh issues and data quality problems
• Optimize report performance and improve usability of dashboards.

Support report lifecycle management and deployment activities

• Design and maintain Power BI data models; build and optimize DAX measures and calculations
• Develop Power Query transformations and data preparation processes
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability of delivered reports
• Work with multiple data sources including: SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, SharePoint, Enterprise applications and business systems
• Manage dataset refresh processes and gateway configurations
• Support troubleshooting of connectivity and data ingestion issues
• Support workspace administration and report governance activities
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS)

Follow reporting standards, governance principles and operational procedures

• Participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions with client SM
• EsPrepare and maintain technical and operational documentation
• Competence demands:3–5+ years of experience with Power BI development and support
• Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX
• Experience in data modelling and report development
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience connecting Power BI to multiple data sources
• Understanding of Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports and dashboards
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS)

Knowledge of dataset refresh and gateway management

Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsVery good command of English

Nice to have:

Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate)VBA knowledge

• Experience supporting reporting solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience in legal, professional services or regulated industries
