Role Purpose

As a Polish–English Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in enabling clear and effective communication for Polish speakers living in the US or UK who are unable to communicate confidently in English. Your work will directly support individuals in important, and often sensitive, situations — making a real impact every day.

The collaboration is fully remote, and we provide professional equipment.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive interpretation between Polish and English.

• Support callers during phone and video calls with public institutions, including:

• medical facilities,

• police stations,

• emergency services (e.g. 911).

• Ensure high accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality during every interaction.

• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism, especially in stressful or emergency situations.

Requirements:

• Excellent command of Polish and English (both mandatory).
• Very strong listening, memory, and note‑taking skills.
• High level of empathy and emotional intelligence when working with callers.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure, particularly during emergency calls.
• Stable cable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free work environment.
• Availability to cooperate: minimum 6-8 hours per day; no maximum limit.
• Legal right to work in Poland (current work authorization required).

Cooperating hours are scheduled in advance within project operating hours (24/7).

• Civil contract with competitive gross hourly rates:

• Training period: PLN 31.40 gross/hour

• Before midnight: PLN 34.00 gross/hour

• Weekends: PLN 36.00 gross/hour

• After midnight: PLN 44.00 gross/hour
