Java Developer

Rate: 150 PLN/h netto + VAT, B2BLocation: Remote with office presence in three locations: Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Łódź (3 days a week in office)

Summary: The Senior Java Developer role focuses on building and maintaining fraud management applications using Java and Apache Kafka. This position is crucial for enhancing the bank's fraud monitoring capabilities through real-time data processing.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop applications in Java for the Fraud Management Domain.

Work collaboratively within a scrum team.

Design solutions and ensure maintainability.

Implement and sustain near real-time data pipelines.

Engage with product owners and stakeholders to clarify project requirements.

Document designs and solutions effectively.

Key Requirements:

Strong experience with server-side Java development (Java EE (E3), Spring Boot (E3)).

Expertise in web services (SOAP/REST).

Experience with Kafka as a messaging technology.

Performance analysis and optimization skills.

Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle or similar) and SQL.

Knowledge of microservices and integration patterns.

Nice to Have:

Experience with containers on Kubernetes.

Familiarity with AWS PaaS services, such as Lambdas.

Other Details:

Office presence required twice a week.
