Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + PHP)

Andersen is hiring a Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + PHP) for a project enhancing affiliate platforms, streamlining partner management, and scaling digital marketing solutions across international markets.

The customer is an international company operating in the business services and media sectors. Its activities include organizing professional events, facilitating industry networking, and supporting business development initiatives. The company serves corporate clients across multiple markets and maintains an international presence.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing affiliate and sub-affiliate programs within a global events, media, and technology ecosystem. It aims to improve partner management, streamline affiliate operations, and support the growth and scalability of digital marketing solutions across multiple international markets.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining scalable, full-stack web applications with Laravel on the back end and Vue/React on the front end.
• Contributing to architecture decisions for applications built to scale: service design, data modeling, caching, and queue-based processing.
• Designing and building RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Developing reusable Laravel packages and front-end components shared across projects.
• Owning quality and performance: refactor legacy code, optimize queries, and improve response times.
• Writing automated tests and take part in code reviews and CI/CD improvements.
• Documenting technical decisions, APIs, and specifications.
• Working with product, design, and other engineering teams to scope and deliver features.

Must-haves:

• Professional experience with modern OOP PHP (8.x) for 5+ years, including 3+ years with Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem: Eloquent, queues and jobs, events, service container, middleware, and authentication (Sanctum or Passport).
• Production experience with React or Vue.
• Familiarity with TypeScript through theory, pet projects, or courses
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, including versioning, validation, authentication, and error handling.
• Solid SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL): schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with caching and queues (Redis, RabbitMQ).

- Hands-on automated testing: PHP

• Unit or Pest, plus front-end tests (Vitest, Jest, or Playwright).
• Comfortable with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in an AI-assisted workflow (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor), with the judgment to review, verify, and take ownership of generated code.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to haves:

• Inertia.js, Livewire, or Next.js/Nuxt.
• Tailwind CSS.
• Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Forge, Vapor).
• Static analysis (PHP
• Stan/Larastan) and code style tooling (Pint).
• Real-time features (Reverb, WebSockets).
• Experience with event platforms, ticketing, or payment integrations (Stripe).
