Data Engineer – Recovery Data Management

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective data solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and resilient data pipelines
• Take end-to-end ownership of deliveries, from initial requirements through implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Build and enhance data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow
• Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other internal and external data sources
• Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
• Ensure high standards of stability, reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability of delivered solutions
• Work independently, proactively identify improvements, and quickly build domain knowledge within the Recovery data area

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
• Practical experience working with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow
• Strong understanding of data modelling and experience designing scalable and resilient data pipelines
• Experience with API integrations and modern data architecture principles
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps ways of working
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions from concept to production
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
