Your responsibilities

• Administering and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters in production environments
• Designing concepts, building, implementing and developing Elasticsearch components in cooperation with developers and architects
• Analyzing platform performance and creating recommendations for infrastructure improvements related to Elasticsearch environments
• Advising developers and architects in the field of application and infrastructure development with a focus on Elasticsearch best practices
• Implementing and maintaining backup & restore procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Elasticsearch clusters
• Ensuring security, availability and reliability of Elasticsearch environments
• Creating and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation related to Elasticsearch and supporting tooling
• Maintaining infrastructure as code and supporting operational excellence initiatives
• Collaborating closely with development teams to provide operational support and optimize system performance
• Participating in incident management and troubleshooting processes

Our requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as DevOps / SRE / SysAdmin / Backend Developer
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in deployment, development and maintenance of Elasticsearch platforms in production environments
• Strong practical knowledge of Elasticsearch administration, troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and basic networking principles
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)

Optional

• Practical knowledge of AWS services
• Knowledge of Terraform and Python
• Elasticsearch certifications
