AI Project Manager

Model: Remote Employment type: Full-timeAn AI Project Manager is responsible for leading the design, planning, development, and delivery of AI solutions, with a particular focus on agentic systems, across global Pharma Commercial projects. Individuals in this role work cross-functionally with AI engineers, data scientists, data engineers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to ensure that AI initiatives are delivered effectively, on time, and in alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI projects, from initial concept and requirements gathering through solution design, development, deployment, and implementation
• Coordinate the design and delivery of AI and agentic solutions addressing specific business challenges within the Pharma Commercial domain
• Translate business needs into clear project objectives, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
• Work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective cross-functional delivery
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and priorities across multiple AI initiativesAct as a key bridge between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the evaluation and prioritization of AI use cases based on business value, user needs, technical feasibility, and expected impact
• Coordinate testing, validation, user acceptance, deployment, and go-live activities, ensuring solutions are delivered to the required quality standards
• Monitor project outcomes, user adoption, and solution performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Stay up to date with emerging AI and agentic technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to global Pharma Commercial projects
• Requirements
• Proven experience in project or program management, preferably within technology, data, AI, or digital transformation projects
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple technical and business stakeholders
• Good understanding of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and particularly agentic AI systems
• Experience translating business requirements into clear project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and project delivery effectively
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Scrum
• Experience delivering AI, GenAI, LLM, or agentic AI projects
• Nice to have
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or commercial domain
• Experience working with cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Experience managing AI proof-of-concepts through to production implementation
