Are you a strong Business Analyst looking to apply your analytical skills in a complex and international environment? Are you curious about aviation and motivated to learn how modern airlines operate? We are looking for a Business Analyst who will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, aviation experts, and software development teams.
In this role, you will analyze customer needs, business processes, operational requirements, and regulatory constraints to support the design and continuous improvement of software solutions used in flight briefing, flight planning, and cockpit workflows within our main product, Lido Flight 4D. You will work closely with international customers, product owners, developers, testers, and aviation specialists to deliver solutions that support modern airline operations while gradually building your aviation domain expertise.

Your responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements, translating complex business and operational needs into clear specifications for development and testing teams.
Analyze airline operational scenarios, flight planning processes, safety requirements, and aviation regulations to support the design of effective software solutions.
Act as a functional expert for international customers, participating in workshops, solution validation sessions, and discussions focused on understanding and improving user needs.
Collaborate closely with software developers, testers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Analyze customer requests, support tickets, and functional inquiries by investigating root causes, evaluating possible solutions, and providing expert feedback.
Prepare clear documentation for bugs, improvements, and feature requests to support effective communication with development teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of products, processes, and ways of working.
Support solution design, implementation, and validation to ensure alignment with user expectations.
Who are you?
Our requirements:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process analysis, and documentation within software development projects.
Strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to structure complex problems and identify practical solutions.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar collaboration and documentation platforms.
Experience with process modeling techniques (BPMN, UML, User Story Mapping, or similar).
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to learn new business domains quickly and understand complex processes and systems.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Self-driven mindset and ability to work independently while collaborating within international teams.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (B2+).
Readiness to work in a hybrid model: 2 days per week in the office in Gdańsk.
Willingness to participate in occasional business trips and international customer workshops.
Interest in aviation and motivation to build domain expertise in airline operations and flight planning solutions.
Nice to have:
Interest in leveraging AI-powered assistants and modern tools to improve analysis, documentation, and decision-making processes.
Basic knowledge of software architecture, APIs, databases, or the ability to read and analyze application code.
Understanding of software testing concepts and optimization algorithms.
Previous exposure to aviation, logistics, transportation, or other operationally complex industries.
