You will work in a cross-functional engineering squad responsible for creating high-performance backend services that directly impact real-time decision-making in global markets.

This is a high-ownership role where you work on mission-critical applications, improve system performance, and design robust backend components that scale across the organisation.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services powering large-scale trading & pricing systems.
2. Build clean, efficient, testable Java code and participate in full SDLC: design → implementation → testing → deployment.
3. Work with Oracle/MySQL databases, optimise SQL queries, and improve data flows.
4. Collaborate in Agile Scrum squads with developers, testers, analysts, and architects.
5. Review code, contribute to engineering best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
6. Support the application lifecycle: debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
