• 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.

Offer description

As a Senior Front-End Engineer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing a Microsoft Word Add-in that leverages AI language models to assist researchers in authoring and reviewing scientific documents. You will be responsible for transforming an existing React/Next.js application into a native Word Add-in, providing users with seamless, contextual assistance directly within their document creation workflow.

Your responsibilities

1. Lead the technical development of a Word Add-in based on an existing React/Next.js application;
2. Utilize Office.js and related technologies to build and integrate an interactive side panel in Microsoft Word (both web and desktop versions);
3. Collaborate with product, UX, and AI teams to adapt AI-powered features (e.g., summarization, rewriting, navigation) into a performant and user-friendly add-in experience;
4. Ensure cross-platform compatibility, responsive design, and secure communication with backend APIs and AI inference services;
5. Maintain a modular, testable, and scalable codebase.
