Joining the talented Strategy team at IZEA, the VP, Creator Strategy & Innovation sits at the heart of the creator economy where platforms, creators, and culture converge. You will shape the future of creator-led marketing for IZEA and our clients by developing breakthrough strategies, uncovering emerging creator opportunities, and driving innovation across social platforms. You will help brands show up authentically in culture by tapping the power of creators and building programs that are insight-driven, platform-native, and culturally resonant.

Your Responsibilities And Contributions Will Drive Value

• Lead creator first strategy and innovation, transforming platform trends, creator insights, and cultural shifts into breakthrough, platform-native programs for IZEA clients
• Serve as a creator thought leader, forecasting what is next across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms, while guiding clients toward creator led growth.
• Bring rigorous, data-driven thinking to your work, and contribute to efforts to elevate capabilities and standards across IZEA.
• Architect bold creator storytelling, shaping strategies that attract followership among stakeholders, authentically connect brands with audiences and drive measurable engagement and advocacy.
• Build cross-functional alignment, partnering with Creative, Client Services, and Media to deliver seamless, creator-powered brand experiences.
• Drive performance optimization, using analytics, audience insights, and real-time platform behavior to refine strategy and elevate results.
• Fuel innovation and new business, shaping POVs, frameworks, pitch narratives, and strategic IP that advance IZEA’s leadership in the creator economy.

Requirements

Your background and experience will lead to success

• 10-12 years of experience in creator, influencer, or social strategy, ideally at a creator agency, social-first agency, or platform-native environment
• Deep expertise in creator ecosystems, including content formats, platform algorithms, partnership models, and emerging creator categories
• Proven ability to turn cultural intelligence into action, translating trends and audience behaviors into high-impact creator programs
• Confident advisor to senior marketers, able to influence decisions and champion creator-led strategies that drive brand and business outcomes.
• Proven analytics and measurement capability using data to power decisions, optimize programs, and tell compelling performance stories.
• A self-starter, unafraid to roll up their sleeves and build new solutions when current practice isn’t working..
• Inspiring team leader and collaborator, fostering curiosity, experimentation, and creativity across multidisciplinary teams

The salary range for this role is $ 180,000-190,000 , based on your overall knowledge, skills and abilities aligned to the role. This range is subject to change.
