Our requirements

• Degree in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in power-converter and control-system software development
• Strong background in traction converters (voltage/current converters) and rail-vehicle electronics
• Expert in C/C++, with additional proficiency in C#, Python and scripting tools
• Hands-on MATLAB & Simulink experience for electrical and control-engineering applications
• Deep knowledge of power-converter topologies, semiconductor devices and thermal/loss calculations
• Proven track record programming TI C2000 and ARM Cortex microcontrollers
• Ability to read/draw electrical diagrams and perform electrical measurements
• Familiarity with modern motor-control techniques, energy-efficient drive strategies

Optional

• Experience with graphical programming in MATLAB (Simulink block design, GUI development) is a plus

Your responsibilities

• Architect and implement real-time control software in C/C++
• Develop and optimise vector-control and sensorless-control algorithms for AC motors (flux reduction, optimal pulse patterns)
• Program and debug embedded firmware on Texas Instruments C2000 and ARM Cortex platforms
• Apply modern control techniques and energy-efficient strategies to induction-motor drives and traction systems
