Our requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java Backend Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java (8/11 and beyond), Spring framework, and REST APIs
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, mocking libraries)
• Good understanding of design patterns and JVM performance optimization
• Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1), both spoken and written
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services for a scientific web application using Java and Spring
• Develop new features and improve existing functionalities with a focus on performance and scalability
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, architects, testers, and product owners in Scrum teams
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Actively participate in technical discussions, contributing ideas and solutions with a “can-do” mindset
