Our requirements

• Required technologies: Python, AWS Services, CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible.
• Optional technologies: Terraform.
• Broad experience working across many AWS services. You must believe that security is a fundamental aspect of delivering solutions and know what it takes to do so in an AWS context.
• Practical understanding of DevOps practices and Agile working techniques. You build it, you own it, you support it mentality.
• Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery success stories.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Proficient experience with CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.
• Nice to haves include: Good non-functional testing experience; Understanding of risk management and ensuring compliance against relevant regulatory processes; Experience working in a highly regulated industry.

Your responsibilities

• Engineers should be comfortable leading major incident investigations, providing on-call support and managing projects with junior colleagues.
• Work with App Teams to deploy their application to AWS.
• Develop in python and automate solutions.
• Write Terraform scripts where required.
• Upgrade existing and develop new security controls.
• Compliance dashboard enhancements.
• Provide 24/7 global support and coverage (rotational).
• The role is a balance of development, support and engineers will be given autonomy for more creative work.
