Your tasks

Your responsibilities:

• Review and refine requirements from System/ Subsystem Level
• Write Requirements for AC SW
• Generate implementation concepts of Sensor Functions and Stores
• Develop functional prototypes of sophisticated algorithms in the area of Air to Surface Weapons
• Support System Hazard Assessements
• Prepare and generate a LRI Processing Specification (LPS)
• Optimize design with regard to operational requirements
• Support definition of platform overarching sensor Management
• Travel to customer and partner companies to discuss concepts and requirements

Your profile:

• Completed studies in engineering, aerospace or comparable
• Several years of work experience in engineering and aerospace
• Understanding of work processes in a military environment and system/software development in aircrafts
• Knowledge of Air-to-Surface weapon functions (including simulation) and operational use cases for sensors and weapon employment is an advantage
• Knowledge of Eurofighter systems (Weapon and Avionics) is an advantage
• Familiarity with System Engineering Standards (ARP 4754A, INCOSE, DO-178C) and Requirements Management / RBE & Analysis is an advantage
• Understanding of certification processes for flying systems is an advantage
• Good knowledge of processes and tools (DOORS, Statemate) is an advantage
• Fluent English skills both spoken and written
• Good German skills
