Joining the talented Strategy team at #TeamIZEA, the SVP, Consumer & Brand Strategy will play a critical role in harnessing the full power of the creator economy as a core marketing pillar. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, audience, and experience, helping IZEA clients understand how to authentically connect with consumers through creators and content that drive both brand relevance and measurable ROI. You will translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and data intelligence into actionable strategies that move audiences from awareness to advocacy.

Your Responsibilities And Contributions Will Drive Value

  • Lead the development of consumer-first, culturally grounded brand strategies that make influencer and creator marketing a key component of the client’s overall marketing mix.
  • Translate data and cultural insights into integrated marketing and creator programs that deliver measurable impact on brand perception, engagement, and sales.
  • Serve as the strategic voice and advisor to senior clients—guiding them on how to leverage creators to shape culture, inspire audiences, and drive growth.
  • Build and oversee frameworks for connecting audience insights and passion points with creator strategy and storytelling, ensuring campaigns align with consumer mindsets and brand objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with our internal teams and our clients to develop end-to-end brand experiences that integrate influencer content across digital, social, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Champion data-driven thinking—leveraging performance analytics, audience building and segmentation, and market intelligence to optimize strategies in real time.
  • Act as a thought leader in the creator economy, identifying emerging cultural trends, platforms, and creator categories that shape audience behavior.
  • Evolve IZEA’s strategic offerings, pitch new ideas, and help clients define what success looks like in an evolving media landscape.
  • Lead, develop, and grow the Strategy capability, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and collaboration.

Your Background And Experience Will Lead To Success

  • 15+ years in consumer and brand strategy, integrated marketing, or communications, ideally within an agency or marketing consultancy.
  • Demonstrated influencer or creator marketing experience, with proven success building scalable, insight-driven programs.
  • Deep understanding of audience behavior, brand storytelling, and the intersection of culture, content, and commerce.
  • Highly data-savvy, able to synthesize audience insights, campaign performance, and ROI metrics into strategic recommendations.
  • Proven ability to connect brand strategy to business outcomes, grounding creative ideas in measurable growth.
  • Experience advising senior marketers and CMOs on brand positioning, creator partnerships, and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of emerging platforms, creator ecosystems, and the evolving social media landscape.
  • Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating across creative, analytics, and media functions.

The salary range for this role is $215,000-235,000 plus annual incentive plan, based on your overall knowledge, skills and abilities aligned to the role. This range is subject to change.
