You’ll work on a distributed Python-based backend platform, the core component of our infrastructure. The role combines hands-on coding, defining functional and non-functional requirements, and designing new solutions from scratch. This is a technically challenging environment, with a fast onboarding process and full remote flexibility.YOU WILL Develop and enhance a Python-based backend for a distributed hosting platformDesign architecture for new components and maintain existing solutionsTroubleshoot and solve complex application and infrastructure issues (last line of support)Work with modern CI/CD and containerization tools to support system automationCollaborate with the team on defining requirements and shaping the system roadmap

Kogo poszukujemy? MUST HAVE4-7 years of experience in backend software development3+ years of experience working with PythonSolid knowledge of Linux (administration, architecture, troubleshooting)Experience with distributed backend systemsAbility to write automated tests and familiarity with testing methodologiesHands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)Experience with: Kubernetes, Docker, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Apache, Nginx, Postfix, Dovecot, LDAP, Kafka, Couchbase, LXC, cgroupsKnowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins) and basic understanding of TCP/IP protocolsAbility to work independently in production environments and solve complex problemsNICE TO HAVEKnowledge of: Perl, C/C++, Lua, GoFamiliarity with IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform, OpenStack, HashiCorp VaultExperience in hosting or cloud environments
