Start date: ASAPRecruitment process:HR/Tech interview Technical interview with clientWe’re looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer (8+ years of experience) to take ownership of quality assurance for large-scale, headless data pipelines. In this role, you will design and implement testing strategies ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity across distributed systems. This is a purely backend QA position - no UI testing, full focus on APIs, services, and batch/stream data flows.What you’ll doDefine and execute QA strategies for data pipelines, ensuring performance, reliability, and data consistency.Build automated tests for headless services and APIs (batch/stream), covering contract, integration, and system-level scenarios.Validate data correctness and consistency -idempotency, deduplication, schema evolution, CDC, and handling of late/duplicate events.Design and run performance and load tests, identify bottlenecks (throughput, latency, backpressure, resource utilization).Collaborate with engineering teams to improve observability, debugging, and quality metrics across data systems.

Kogo poszukujemy? 8+ years of QA experience, preferably in data engineering or backend systems.Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs and streaming/batch data processing.Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks for APIs or data services.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication, autonomy, and proactive attitude.Degree in Computer Science or related field is a strong plus.
