Senior Software Engineer (Lead Full Stack Engineer)Location: Kraków (hybrid model – 2 days per week from the office)Industry: FinTech / Risk & Compliance TechnologyContract type: B2BRate: 180–210 PLN/hourAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a global Risk & Compliance technology team within a large international financial organization (client name confidential).You will play a key role in designing and building a brand-new internal web platform - Design Management Tool (DMT) - created to support end-to-end Business Architecture Design Management.The platform will automate, standardize, and optimize architecture design processes, enabling design capture, compliance checks, optimization workflows, and advanced analytics. This is a greenfield project with real impact across global business units.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, architectural decision-making, and hands-on development across the full technology stack.Responsibilities Architect, design, and build a scalable web platform from scratch (frontend and backend) Lead development of user-facing features using modern frameworks (React, Angular) Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Java, or Python Define data models, business logic, and API contracts Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of the platform Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers in an Agile (SCRUM) environment Drive CI/CD processes, automated testing, and code quality standards Design and implement cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) using Infrastructure as Code, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless services Mentor and support other engineers, promoting architectural standards and technical excellence Requirements 8+ years of professional software engineering experience 3+ years in a Full Stack Engineer or Lead Engineer role delivering end-to-end web platforms Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) Solid backend experience with Java Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable system architectures Proven experience building platforms or tools from scratch Strong understanding of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases Experience with Git and modern version control workflows Ability to work independently, own technical decisions, and deliver with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) Hands-on experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD, monitoring, auto-scaling, site reliability engineering Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes Familiarity with data science tools (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter Notebooks) Interest or experience in Generative AI frameworks and techniques What’s Offered Hybrid work model with flexibility Private medical care Multisport card Flexible working hours Opportunity to build a high-impact platform used across a global organization Why apply for an Antal job offer?When your application is successful, you will be supported by a dedicated Consultant who will stay in regular contact with you (via email or phone), help you prepare for interviews with your future employer, and ensure a smooth and professional recruitment process.About AntalAntal is a leading recruitment and HR advisory company, present in Poland since 1996 and later expanded to the Czech Republic and Hungary.
