You will be part of a specialized engineering team maintaining the Internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP), ensuring its stability, performance, and security across the organization. In this role, you are collaborating closely with infrastructure and development teams to manage deployments, automate processes, and resolve incidents efficiently. You are contributing to building a resilient platform that supports critical services powering global banking operations.Your main responsibilities:Ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of the internal Kubernetes infrastructureSupporting deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Kubernetes platformTroubleshooting and resolving incidents, performance issues, and integration failuresPerforming root cause analysis and implementing reliability improvementsCollaborating with other teams to identify and resolve platform issuesMonitoring system performance and automating operational tasks where possibleManaging incident, problem, and change processes according to ITIL standardsPlanning and coordinating team activities and administrative tasks as requiredMaintaining strong documentation of processes, configurations, and platform changesProviding 24/7 support as part of an on-call rotation, including weekendsYou're ideal for this role if you have:3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administrationStrong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes operationsExperience with Unix/Linux administration and system troubleshootingFamiliarity with infrastructure as code tools and automation practicesUnderstanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change managementStrong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issuesAbility to interpret and analyze data from logs and monitoring dashboardsExcellent communication skills and teamwork abilities across global environmentsProven ability to improve system reliability and operational efficiencyProficiency in written and spoken EnglishIt is a strong plus if you have:Experience with Service Mesh technologiesFamiliarity with observability tools for monitoring and alertingExposure to large-scale, enterprise-level Kubernetes deploymentsBackground in scripting or programming for automation tasksExperience working in large-scale financial or enterprise IT environmentsWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in various, innovative, and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
