Thrive as an IT Analyst and join the team in one of the biggest Polish banks!Gdańsk/ Warszawa - based with hybrid work model (1 day in the office/ week)As a Senior IT Analyst you will be working for our client, a global banking group driving a multi-year digital transformation programme that modernises both its online and branch-based services. You will join a cross-functional tribe tasked with crafting secure, high-performance solutions that streamline customer journeys, integrate legacy and cloud platforms, and accelerate time-to-market for new financial products. The project spans end-to-end analysis, microservice design, and agile delivery, giving you direct influence over architecture decisions, product features, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.Your main responsibilities: Design innovative banking processes for digital and branch channels Gather and analyse business requirements with multiple bank departments Create functional and system solution concepts including UI mock-ups and business rule models Define and oversee system integration across modules using SOA and REST Address security and performance considerations for enterprise-grade platforms Support acceptance testing and coordinate production deployments Maintain and enhance delivered solutions and system architecture through in-house development Operate within agile frameworks such as SCRUM and Agile PM You're ideal for this role if you have: Minimum five years’ experience as a System Analyst or Product Owner in IT projects, preferably in finance Proven ability to analyse client needs and translate them into functional requirements Proficiency with SOA, Web Services, REST and tools such as SOAP UI or Postman Skill in designing microservice architectures and documenting APIs with Swagger / YAML Expertise in modelling IT systems using UML and BPMN Experience coordinating work between interdependent teams Strong organisational skills enabling effective task planning in complex projects Proficiency with at least one CASE tool, ideally Enterprise Architect Good knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation Confident command of spoken and written English Nice to have: Practical knowledge of user story mapping and event storming Familiarity with distributed system architecture Understanding of modern design patterns Ability to define services with OpenAPI Knowledge of UX/UI principles Project management certification and its practical application We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
