A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience., At least 3 years of hands-on IBM MQ administration experience., Strong understanding of MQ internals and troubleshooting methodologies., Experience with security implementations in MQ (SSL/TLS, access controls)., Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, REXX, or PowerShell., Familiarity with distributed MQ environments., Knowledge of MQ clustering and workload balancing techniques., Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident and Change Management., Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills., Ability to document configurations and resolutions effectively., Fluent English (good command required)., Experience managing MQ in enterprise or high-availability environments., Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE)., Exposure to cloud-based MQ services such as AWS MQ or IBM Cloud MQ., Hands-on experience with MQ monitoring tools like Omegamon or Instana., Certification in IBM MQ or related technologies.
