Experience: 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role., Databases: Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL., ETL / ELT: Proven experience designing, building, and migrating ETL/ELT using Azure Data Factory and SSIS., Reporting: Experience with SSRS and Crystal Reports; ability to modernize legacy reporting., Azure Data Services: Practical experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake / ADLS Gen2., Data Warehouse Design: Solid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts., SQL & Performance: Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning., Architecture & Documentation: Ability to design end-to-end data solutions and produce SDD., Data Pipelines: Experience building enterprise-scale pipelines for batch and streaming., Governance & Security: Knowledge of data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance., Collaboration: Experience integrating data from multiple sources and working with backend teams., Power BI: Familiarity with Power BI data models and performance optimization., Azure Databricks & Apache Spark for large-scale processing., Experience migrating legacy ETL/reporting to the cloud., Knowledge of .NET ecosystem and API integration patterns., Experience with secure data sources (CyberArk, SFTP)., Streaming or near-real-time data processing., CI/CD for data platforms and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)., Cloud cost optimization strategies.
