Job Overview We are seeking a SAS Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in SAS 9 and SAS Viya 3.5. The role focuses on designing, automating, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) solutions within a secure and compliant environment. You will also be responsible for lifecycle management, security hardening, and alignment with international banking risk standards.About the TeamThe SAS Infrastructure team is responsible for the automated deployment, operation, and maintenance of SAS 9 and SAS Viya 3.5 platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, upgrade, and support SAS 9 and SAS Viya 3.5 environments.Manage and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.Use automation tools (e.g., Ansible) to streamline operations.Perform administration and configuration of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5.Work with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Develop scripts using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.Create and maintain technical documentation.Use version control tools such as Git or other distributed VCS solutions.Handle lifecycle and release management activities.Support automation, scheduling, and configuration management processes (e.g., CMDB).Collaborate effectively with other teams and understand business workflows.Work according to Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.Hands-on experience operating SAS 9 and SAS Viya 3.5 in production environments.Strong understanding of automation practices and track record in automating software operations.Experience in high-performing Agile IT teams.Excellent English communication skills.
