Sample Admin Laboratory

Location: Stolberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, DE
Department: Laboratory
Travel requirements: 5%, up to 13 business days per year
Physical requirements: Light – exerting up to 20 lbs / 9 kg of force frequently, and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects
Description: This is an onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days a week. No relocation is provided for this opportunity.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Internal coordination of laboratory samples and scheduling of tests
• Proactive monitoring and communication of timelines and delays in laboratory testing in coordination with laboratory management
• Support of laboratory management in the continuous improvement of testing through the provision of reports and statistics
• Distribution and shipment of samples to internal and external laboratories
• Preparation of laboratory reports, certificates, and statistics
• Scanning and tracking of incoming samples via SAP
• Coordination of the timelines of raw material testing in collaboration with the Supply Chain department
• Provision and printing of raw data logbooks for the German laboratory
• Support of procurement processes within the laboratory

Qualifications

• Successfully completed training as a chemical or biological laboratory technician, chemical-technical, biological-technical assistant or administrative assistant
• Initial professional experience in a comparable position
• Good computer skills (MS Office)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is desirable
• Reliability, resilience, and ability to work in a team
• Careful, independent, and structured way of working
