In this role, you will ensure the quality, stability, and operational excellence of custom-developed applications. You will contribute to test design, execution, and automation while managing application lifecycles, collaborating with developers, product owners, and internal customers. Your work will enhance application reliability, support continuous improvement, and maintain smooth operations across cloud-based environments, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business needs.Your main responsibilities:Design, plan, and execute automated and manual test cases for custom applicationsDevelop and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure Cloud)Take ownership of Application IT Management tasks including environment coordination, release support, incident analysis, and lifecycle improvementsCollaborate with developers, product owners, and internal customers to refine requirements and optimize application quality and performanceMonitor application health and support operational readiness across environmentsIdentify opportunities to improve testing processes and application management practicesSupport smooth deployment processes and continuous integration initiativesDocument and report test results, incidents, and system issuesStay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing toolsYou're ideal for this role if you have:Strong experience in software testing, including test design, execution, defect management, and automation (Java-based frameworks, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)Experience or interest in Application IT Management, including release processes, incident handling, and environment coordinationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker), and modern development ecosystemsBasic development experience in Java or similar languagesAutonomous, structured, and quality-focused work approachStrong communication skills in English; German is a plusExcellent collaboration and teamwork abilitiesWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in various, innovative, and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
