Your responsibilities

• Conduct and document laboratory experiments involving hydrogel processing polymerization
• Prepare and characterize samples using relevant analytical and imaging methods
• Handle human-derived materials in accordance with biosafety requirements
• Support experiments that simulate physiological conditions relevant to material performance
• Maintain laboratory organization, instrument calibration, and consistent data recording
• Propose new experimental methods and process improvements
• Contribute creative and out-of-the-box thinking to optimize research workflows and problem solving

Our requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field. PhD degree preferred (or currently in the final year of a doctoral program in a relevant field)
• Practical experience with polymer or biomaterial synthesis and characterization
• Knowledge of fluorescence analysis techniques and lab instrumentation
• Familiarity with biological sample handling and basic safety practices
• Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience working in interdisciplinary R&D environments
• Basic microbiological techniques
