Location: Kraków (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineering Manager to lead the team that designs, builds, and evolves the internal platforms powering software delivery. The platform our client provides automation, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and private-cloud patterns used by all development teams.

What you’ll do:

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and grow a team of platform engineers building shared services for CI/CD, automation, configuration management, and private cloud.
• Define the platform vision and roadmap aligned with business and technology goals.
• Work directly with development teams to understand needs, gather feedback, and improve developer experience.
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, learning, and open communication.
• Balance innovation with operational reliability and compliance.

Technical Direction

• Oversee design and delivery of platform services enabling CI, deployment automation, secure configuration, and environment management.
• Develop and maintain reusable, secure private-cloud infrastructure patterns aligned with public-cloud standards.
• Lead strategy for configuration management and automation tooling.
• Ensure observability, performance, and strong design across all platform components (VM-based and containerised).
• Improve developer experience through clear interfaces, documentation, and consistency.
• Maintain strong operational foundations on Linux (RHEL/CentOS).

Delivery & Operations

• Ensure operational excellence: availability, performance, incident response, and lifecycle management.
• Use metrics (DORA, adoption, developer satisfaction) to guide decisions and show value.
• Manage team performance, priorities, and stakeholder relationships (engineering, infrastructure, security).
• Oversee integrations with tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, Venafi, F5, Akamai, Atlassian
