We are searching for a Payroll Specialist that will provide professional level support to our team as well as help maintain an employee-oriented culture. This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with full-cycle payroll processing.

• Assist with processing weekly payroll for 1,800+ employees.
• Process employee changes and verify payroll accuracy on a weekly basis.
• Process garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, state unemployment insurance, and quarterly tax verifications.
• Develop in-depth understanding of payroll software and HRIS. Creates reports on demand.
• Review employee timecards for accuracy and reconcile variances.
• Reach out to managers and supervisors with questions and concerns pertaining to employee timecards.
• Provide training materials and deadlines to new managers.
• Monitor payroll email box.
• Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Support Benefits team as needed.
• Is detail oriented, organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapts to business priorities that change quickly.
• Can multi-task and handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
• Must be able to demonstrate problem solving abilities, decisiveness, and flexibility.
• Must have a strong teamwork mentality.
• 3+ years' experience with full-cycle payroll processing (required).
• Ability to work independently and employ effective time management skills.
• Has experience in the following systems ADP Workforce Now (required), Kronos Workforce Dimensions (preferred), iCIMS (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft tools, specifically Excel (required).
• Bilingual - Spanish (preferred).
• Has the ability to handle very sensitive information in a discreet, confidential manner.
