Requirements description

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience managing engineering teams, including cross-functional or distributed teams.
• Proven track record working in agile / lean environments with a servant leadership approach.
• Strong people leadership skills – ability to grow, mentor, and motivate engineers.
• Solid understanding of web system architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, cookies, CDN/caching).
• Practical experience with modern web technologies: ElasticSearch, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Vue.js.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD, and observability tools and practices.

Your responsibilities

1. Implementing the technology strategy: contributing to system architecture, defining engineering standards, and supporting technology selection.
2. Leading engineering teams: organizing daily work, mentoring, and developing team members while fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
3. Driving agile methodologies: establishing processes and practices that improve team efficiency, quality, and engagement.
