For one of out Clients, a well-known international company, we are currently looking for a professional to join a newly established team as Transport Manager.

The salary ranges were estimated based on the Devire Salary Report for 2025 and may vary across companies.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead the transport operations team to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and compliant transport services that support regional goals.
  • Plan short-term operations by managing resources, capacity, and service levels.
  • Oversee project implementation to make sure it supports company priorities.
  • Serve as the main escalation point for operational issues and guide the team to resolve them quickly.

People Management & Team Development

  • Lead, support, and develop the Transport Team to maintain strong performance and high engagement.
  • Encourage a positive, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
  • Conduct performance reviews and promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Financial Planning & Cost Management

  • Oversee the transport budget, including planning, tracking, and reporting costs.
  • Ensure operations stay within financial targets.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners to support smooth communication and alignment.

Process & Workflow Optimisation

  • Find opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Performance Analysis & Decision Support

  • Track key performance metrics such as delivery times, costs, and system efficiency to support informed decision-making.
