We’re growing our Engineering team and hiring our next Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer to increase our product velocity, own features end-to-end, and bring DualEntry’s AI-powered accounting platform to the world’s fastest-growing companies.

This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership.

You’ll be joining at an early and defining moment. Your work will directly shape our product, customers, and trajectory.

Where You’ll Create Impact

• Build, ship, and own major parts of the product UI in React + Next.js
• Design and optimize interactive experiences that make complex workflows simple
• Work closely with product, design, and backend to ensure seamless integration and clarity
• Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers
• Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale
• Elevate the quality of the product through thoughtful details, polish, and user empathy

How You’ll Work

You’ll collaborate with:

• Founders, to understand vision and user context
• Product & Design, to shape intuitive, elegant workflows
• Backend Engineering, to align on data structures and performance

You’ll operate with full ownership: deploy daily, make fast decisions, and always aim for clarity.

What Sets You Up for Success

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with React (Next.js a strong plus)
• Solid grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript: scoping, closures, context, prototypes, classes, etc.
• Strong understanding of responsive UI, accessibility, and usability principles
• Experience building and testing APIs; comfort with HTTP, Postman, and debugging
• Clear product thinking, eye for polish, and attention to design details
• Pragmatic mindset: you move forward, make calls, and optimize for impact
• Curiosity and autonomy — you dig in, learn fast, and solve problems without waiting

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $100K–$155K USD
• Equity: ~$40K+ USD
• Option for B2B or full-time permanent position
• Remote-first setup
• 15 PTO days + 12 public holidays
• Visa sponsorship option for relocation to NYC within 2+ years
