Requirements description

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks (pipelines, Unity Catalog, platform components)
• 2+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Solid background in data warehousing, ETL processes, distributed systems, and data modeling
• Experience working with large-scale data in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database design
• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Data Marts, and Data Mesh architectures
• Experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD practices
• Very good English communication skills (spoken and written)

About the role

In this position, you will design, build, and maintain advanced data processing pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL, while working with modern concepts such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh, and distributed data processing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to architecture decisions and helping shape the direction of the data ecosystem.

Your responsibilities

1. Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines in Databricks
2. Working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
3. Developing and optimizing ETL/ELT processes
4. Building and maintaining data models and distributed data solutions
5. Implementing best practices in data engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD
6. Supporting the development of modern data platform components (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh)
