Requirements description

  • Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (internal auditor certification preferred)
  • Practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Master’s degree in a technical field ideally in chemistry or materials technology
  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment in automotive industry
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in working directly with customers and suppliers
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ownership and accountability for quality
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Discipline and decisiveness

For our client that is a globally operating produtcion company, committed to delivering excellence and continuous improvement across its international operations we are recruting for Plant Quality Director .

Location : near Kraków

Job Overview:

Responsible for establishing, improving, and streamlining quality processes across the organization, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and ongoing improvements. Act as the primary contact for quality-related matters and ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.

Key duties include leading internal and external audits, analyzing quality metrics, and providing performance reports on the quality management system. Collaborate with various teams to foster a strong culture of quality awareness while driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a quality action plan to achieve KPI targets and enable continuous improvement, including gathering and analyzing data and producing reports on key quality metrics.
  2. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer complaints to protect customer interests and ensure lessons are learned.
  3. Lead internal rejection investigations and implement corrective measures.
  4. Manage supplier-related issues
  5. Prioritize quality improvement actions based on the highest risk and the cost of non-quality.
  6. Create an internal audit schedule and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to maintain product quality.
