• 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Experience as a Data/FinOps Analyst in a cloud environment (preferably Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cost Management + Billing, Power BI, and FinOps reporting tools.
• Proven experience in cloud cost monitoring, optimization, and identifying savings opportunities.
• Experience optimizing advanced Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AML).
• Ability to create cloud cost forecasts, budgets, and stakeholder reports.
• Knowledge of governance practices: tagging, reserved instances, spend limits.
• Experience with cost allocation models (chargeback/showback).
• Strong collaboration skills with technical and financial teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure usage and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities (rightsizing, commitment plans, best practices).
• Optimize Azure services, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Develop and manage cloud cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.
• Build dashboards and reports using Azure Cost Management + Billing, Power BI, and FinOps tools.
• Define and enforce cost governance policies (tagging, spend limits, reserved instances).
• Support cost allocation models across departments (chargeback/showback).
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Finance to align cloud usage with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement of FinOps processes and tools.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and usage data for audits and compliance.
• Translate business questions into technical requirements and perform data analysis.
