Requirements description

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Distribution, Energy, Generation Management Systems (DMS/EMS/GMS) & SCADA systems with proper understanding of power applications is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation with a strong focus on systems built using Microservices, Kafka, C#.
• Hands-on experience in automated test frameworks (e.g., FlaUI, Test White, Windows Automation) and scripting (e.g. Python, Bash).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, pipelines, containers, and deployment in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, including black box, white box, performance, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and version control tools like Git.
• Experience with security testing, static/dynamic code analysis tools, and compliance standards is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English; ability to explain technical issues clearly.

We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance, test automation, and continuous validation strategies in our Grid Automation R&D unit. You will be heavily involved in QA aspects during analysis, design, testing, and deployment phases of Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS) applications delivery, and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams building mission-critical, real-time systems using Microservices, Kafka, C#, C/C++ technology stack, deployed on Microsoft Azure. Your role will be key in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security in modern power grid solutions. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure. You will be part of a global, agile technology team that develops future-proof solutions used in crucial infrastructure worldwide.

Your responsibilities

2. Design, implement, and maintain Test Procedures, automated test frameworks and pipelines for Integrated applications.
3. Define and execute test strategies that cover functional, integration, system, performance, and security validation.
4. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) by integrating automated tests and improving release quality gates.
5. Collaborate with software engineers to understand requirements, architecture, and system behavior to create effective test cases.
6. Analyze and report test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams on resolution and continuous improvement.
