Knowledge and Experience

• Excellent understanding of the change lifecycles, including 3+ years of working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies, ability to apply best practices. Excellent understanding of Change Framework and best practice techniques.

• Experience of analysis/requirements management techniques e.g., user stories, BDD style scenarios, e2e process flow or customer journey mapping, story mapping, elicitation techniques, gap and competitor analysis etc. Experience of leading analysis activities to support the delivery of customer centric digital products and features.

• Working experience with business stakeholders and product managers on product backlogs. Track record of building sustainable relationship with diverse stakeholder groups.

• Skills: High quality verbal and written communication skills, ability to present strategic information briefly and clearly to wide and varied audiences. Influencing skills and ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.

• Commercial and critical thinking with ability and confidence to challenge status quo; strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, proposing solutions when escalating.

• Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritisation. A track record of constantly looking for improvement, with a ‘can do’ proactive approach.

• Capabilities (critical): Change & Implementation; Stakeholder management; Business requirements gathering, verification and validation; Process design and mapping (incl. detailed process flows); Gapm analysis; Impact Analysis; Change Control; MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word); Confluence; Jira.

• Qualifications and Accreditations: (i) Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) in related field or commensurate practical experience; (ii) CBAP, Change & Implementation, Lean Six Sigma (desirable); (iii) Agile BA, SAFe, TOGAF (optional).

Your responsibilities

1. Work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating andclarifying requirements and defining design options.
2. Support IT with the translation of business requirements and designs into more detailed functionalrequirements and designs in systems related projects and programmes, often representing the voice of thecustomer and business in these discussions.
3. Be responsible for implementation management, including planning, controlling and reporting onimplementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk duringdeployment, also manage implementation readiness and the early stages of implementation (e.g. pilot).
4. Work closely with the Process Consultants in reengineering projects, analysing and re-engineering worldclass business processes.
5. Need to be abreast with emerging technology and innovation and their application to solve challenges andimprove the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank’s proposition and customer and colleagueexperience.
6. Be responsible for the timely and high-quality delivery of programmes, adhering to HSBC ChangeFramework.
