Requirements description

• Minimum 3 years of experience in JVM application development.
• Experience and knowledge of: Java+Spring or Kotlin+Ktor.
• Experience with and knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with and knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB preferred).
• Knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: Kubernetes and Helm, AWS services, Terraform, Golang, observability stack (preferred: Loki or OpenSearch, Jaeger or Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Strong understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture.
• Focus on software development best practices.
• Strong communication, analytical, and listening skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture.
• Strong written and oral English language.

What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Software Engineer is responsible for building the tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Work closely with the agile team to break down problems and apply the appropriate designs and practices to build core domain services in PaaS environment on top of infrastructure layer. Collaborate with other Engineers, Product Management and leadership to understand your team's priorities and how those help us solve company-wide problems.

This role is offered as remote, with the expectation to be in the office in Katowice once per quarter (once per 2 weeks is welcomed but not mandatory).

We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

Your responsibilities

1. Break down customer problems into work you and the team can execute on.
2. Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality.
3. Use your knowledge of product to mentor others.
4. Use your knowledge of Engineering best practices to ask the right questions, solve problems and build great software.
5. Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud).
6. When you don’t know the solution, seek out the appropriate people in the organization for advice.
