What you bring to the role:

• A team first, collaborative approach.

• At least 5 years of experience in Security, with at least 3 years of cloud infrastructure development, software engineering, and SaaS security experience.
• Experience leveraging data lake solutions, such as Snowflake, for cyber security use cases.
• Wide ranging experience with enterprise security tools and technologies.
• Programming experience involving real-world development.
• Strong understanding of AWS products and services, their unique risks, and how to address those risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a capability to innovate and create custom solutions.

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications or other cloud based certifications.
• Security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, GSEC, GWEB, GPEN, OSCP, CEH, CCSP, etc.

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to play a key technical leadership role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and extensibility of the ITAM platform. The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł278,000.00-zł418,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, build, and implement advanced, cloud-based threat prevention infrastructure tailored to our SaaS environment, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and resilience.
2. Develop solutions that enable proactive defense of the Zendesk business using Go, Python, Java, and other coding languages.
3. Integrate various security tools and technologies to create a cohesive and effective threat prevention ecosystem.
4. Review projects to identify risks and suggest ways to manage those risks.
5. Analyze intricate problem statements and diverse use cases to develop & implement robust Cyber Security solutions that address our organizational needs.
6. Influence our partners to drive security control improvements throughout the business.
