YOUR ROLE

Join our dynamic development teams supporting both legacy and modern parts of our application landscape. As a Senior Database Developer, you will split your time equally between two teams, contributing to the evolution and optimization of our data infrastructure.

You will work with complex stored procedures, data imports, and performance tuning, while also supporting automation and deployment processes. This role offers close collaboration with Product Owners and technical experts to deliver robust and scalable database solutions.

YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a seasoned MS SQL developer with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, optimizing queries, and automating database changes using modern tools and pipelines.

Development and Optimization

• Work with large sets of stored procedures, including reverse engineering legacy code
• Optimize database queries and overall performance
• Design and implement efficient data import processes from complex CSV files

Collaboration and Analysis

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand requirements and propose solutions
• Analyze and transform data to support business needs

Automation and Deployment

• Support automation of database changes using Liquibase and GitLab pipelines
• Ensure version control and traceability of database changes

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong knowledge of SQL and stored procedures
• Solid experience with MS SQL Server, including query and database optimization
• Familiarity with versioning tools such as Liquibase or Flyway (Liquibase preferred)
• Experience with deployment automation (Liquibase + GitLab pipelines is a plus)
• Analytical thinking and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with other database technologies or cloud platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
