For our client from pharmaceutical industry we are looking for candidates for Demand Planning Manager who will be responsible for Demand Planning in selected group products in EMEA Region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field,
  • 8+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain ideally in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry,
  • experience in Team Management of 5 – 15 Demand Planners,
  • proven experience managing demand across multiple markets/regions (EMEA preferred),
  • experience with S&OP/IBP processes and cross-functional leadership,
  • strong proficiency in SAP advanced planning systems,
  • excellent excel and data analytics skills; understanding of statistical modeling and forecasting methods,
  • comfortable working with large datasets, dashboards, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.),
  • excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across seniority levels and cultures,
  • ability to handle complexity, navigate ambiguity, and make data-driven decisions.
  • highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • lead the end-to-end demand planning cycle for assigned products across EMEA, ensuring robust statistical forecasting and market intelligence integration,
  • own monthly demand planning processes (S&OP/IBP), including forecast submission, review meetings, variance analysis, and scenario modeling,
  • analyze historical sales, market trends, promotional activities, and tender dynamics to produce accurate, unbiased forecasts,
  • identify demand risks and opportunities and communicate them proactively to key stakeholders,
  • maintain forecast accuracy and bias KPIs; drive continuous improvement plans across markets,
  • partner with regional commercial, marketing, finance, supply chain, regulatory, and medical teams to ensure alignment on demand assumptions,
  • act as the main interface with global supply planning and manufacturing teams to secure supply availability for EMEA markets,
  • collaborate with country teams to gather insights on new indications, launches, stock-in, tenders, and competitor events,
  • manage demand forecasts for a multi-country, multi-SKU pharmaceutical portfolio, including lifecycle products,
  • provide inventory projections and support safety stock optimization in coordination with regional supply teams,
  • evaluate supply constraints and propose mitigation actions to maintain service levels across the region,
  • lead regular reporting activities, including forecast accuracy dashboards, demand review packs, and KPIs,
  • ensure data integrity in planning systems and support system enhancements or process automation initiatives,
  • managing the team od Demand Planners – recruitment, motivation, appraisal,
  • mentor junior planners and support development of best practices across the EMEA demand planning community,
  • lead or contribute to global and regional projects related to S&OP, forecasting, product transitions, or planning excellence,
  • implement process improvements to enhance forecast reliability, transparency, and operational efficiency.
