AWS Data Engineer / ArchitectLocation: Gdańsk (on-site)Working hours: European time zoneExperience: 4+ yearsRole overview:Data expert responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modern Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions within the AWS cloud environment.Key responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-based data architectures (Data Lake / Data Warehouse) on AWS. Manage data migration from on-premise systems to AWS. Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using services such as Glue, EMR, Step Functions, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and Kinesis. Ensure high data quality, security, and compliance with internal and external standards. Work closely with Infrastructure and Security teams across different project stages. Prepare documentation and report in English. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect within AWS environments. Strong knowledge of AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Data Pipeline, EMR). Proficiency in Python, SQL, or PySpark for data transformation and analytics. Proven experience in data migration and modernization projects. Excellent command of English for reporting, documentation, and meetings. Willingness to work on-site in Gdańsk during European hours.
