The ideal candidate is a developer who can combine Oracle and ColdFusion skills.Most of the activities include web development, database development, support, testing and troubleshooting.The main objective of this assignment is to deliver technical development (PL/SQL and ColdFusion) services related to the Assessment IT Systems, including, but not limited to, the following projects:  Changed to existing systems to accommodate a new Digital Assessment platform (Digital Assessment project). Integrations with new services (foundation project). Main Responsibilities: Delivery and support of enterprise-strength solutions via a variety of platforms. Investigate, analyse, and develop technical solutions for IT software incidents and problems. Provide functionally correct, unit-tested, deployable, and performant software artifacts. Ensure software meets Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), particularly regarding Security, Maintainability, and Performance. Produce technical documentation as required during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Review and approve solutions, development, and documentation of changes performed by globally distributed teams and third parties. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Extensive systems development knowledge with experience in web application and database development across various technologies. Strong knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience with ColdFusion. Preferably - expertise in front-end Single Page Application (SPA) development using HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript. Full knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proven ability to deliver value on schedule without compromising quality. Strong knowledge of current trends and technologies in system development, with the ability to recommend new or alternative approaches. Excellent interpersonal skills, including chairing meetings and communicating complex technical issues in simple terms. Nice to have: ITIL Practitioners Certification. Experience liaising with 3rd party suppliers to ensure successful delivery of systems. Experience supporting globally distributed teams. Familiarity with Java web services. Experience with Oracle Reports. Basics of C# programming. Experience with .NET technologies. Familiarity with the Angular framework.
