OverviewWe are looking for a SAS Infrastructure DEVOPS Engineer with strong experience in SAS 9 and/or SAS Viya, combined with expertise in cloud container environments (GKE and/or AKS). In this role, you will design, automate, and operate Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, ensure secure and compliant environments, and support lifecycle management according to international banking risk standards.About the TeamYou will join the SAS Infrastructure team, responsible for automated deployment, operations, and maintenance of SAS 9 and SAS Viya platforms (versions 3.5 and 4).Key Responsibilities Install, upgrade, and support SAS 9 and/or SAS Viya environments (Platform Operations). Administer and manage Linux-based servers. Operate and maintain cloud container platforms, such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Use automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to streamline infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Work with Azure DevOps for Continuous Delivery and pipeline automation. Develop scripts using Python, Shell, or PowerShell. Implement and support enterprise monitoring systems (e.g., GCP Monitoring) and automation/scheduling tools. Maintain CMDB-related documentation and processes. Produce and update technical documentation. Handle lifecycle and release management activities. Apply backup, restore, and disaster recovery best practices. Use Git or other distributed version-control systems. Cooperate with cross-functional teams and understand business processes. Work according to Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Hands-on experience with SAS 9 and/or SAS Viya installation, administration, and support. Experience with GKE and/or AKS cluster management. Strong Linux system administration skills. Proven experience in automating infrastructure and software operations. Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written). Background in high-performing Agile IT environments. Nice to Have: SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya administration experience. Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
