What are you going to do? Joining Oke as a Node.js Developer means becoming an integral part of an innovative competence team where you will work together in one or multiple project teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex integrations of various external systems. These integrations will aggregate data and make it accessible through APIs that service mobile and web applications. You will be heavily involved in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that each release meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. In addition to these core development tasks, you will be engaged in various aspects of project management and team collaboration. You will participate in agile scrum teams, utilizing tools like Jira and Git for effective project tracking and version control. The role also demands a keen eye for quality, as you will be responsible for maintaining code quality through unit tests and other automated tools as part of the pipeline. Additional tasks: Develop and integrate systems in various backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless functionality for mobile and web applications. Participate in sprint planning and releases, adhering to Agile methodologies. Maintain high standards of code quality and implement unit tests for robustness. About the team As a member of the Node.js competence team of about ten members, your role will involve participating in a team environment that fosters growth and knowledge exchange. The team conducts weekly knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on Node.js and broader JavaScript technologies. These sessions involve interactions with web and mobile competencies across the company, which helps to develop a comprehensive understanding of different platforms and technologies. In this role, you will get to work on one or more projects, often collaborating with front-end team members. Your experience will be valuable in contributing to the projects. Requirements Relevant work experience At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Node.js developer; Knowledge of TypeScript; Multiple years of experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (such as AWS); Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CDK; Pre: Familiarity with technologies such as TypeORM, GraphQL, Unit test frameworks (e.g. Jest/Vitest), Serverless Computing (e.g. AWS Lambda), headless CMS's (e.g. Strapi); English C1 What do we offer?
