We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a product-focused mindset to join a long-term project in the maritime SaaS domain. The platform is designed to digitize and optimize ship management across technical, operational, and commercial areas. Youll play a key role in delivering intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that support mission-critical workflows in a demanding operational context. This is an opportunity to bring your front-end expertise into a product team that cares about architecture, usability, and performance. If you enjoy integrating React frontends with Azure-based APIs, and you're driven by clean code and purposeful product development, this role is for you.   What you'll be doing

Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and accessible front-end solutions using React + TypeScript

Build reusable UI components and contribute to the evolution of the platforms design system

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete, full-featured user experiences

Integrate with Azure-hosted APIs and services to expose real-time operational data to users

Champion front-end best practices across performance, maintainability, and usability

Participate in architecture discussions and shape the front-end technical roadmap

  Expected competences and knowledge

Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, and Tailwind  Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms Understanding of component-based architecture, API integration, and asynchronous data handling User-focused mindset with high standards for UI/UX and accessibility Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and modern front-end tooling A proactive communicator and a collaborative team player, especially in distributed teams
