The Opportunity We are partnering with a rapidly growing international Fintech company that is revolutionizing global B2B commerce infrastructure. They are currently launching their first engineering hub in Poland and we are looking for a Senior Engineer to become a founding member of this new team.This is not a typical maintenance role. You will be working directly with the client’s core team to shape the technological direction, architecture, and engineering culture of the new Polish branch.About the Project You will be building a high-performance payments platform responsible for processing complex global transactions. The goal is to ensure scalability, reliability, and security while delivering a seamless user experience.Your Role Architectural Influence: You will take ownership of features from concept to production, making key decisions on API design and system integration. Building for Scale: You will focus on optimizing backend infrastructure to handle high loads with low latency—crucial for financial operations. Quality & Standards: You will set the bar for code quality, introducing automated testing strategies and conducting thorough code reviews. Collaboration: You will act as a bridge between product managers and the development team, ensuring technical feasibility meets business goals.

Mentorship: As a senior member of a newly forming team, you will help establish best practices and support the growth of future team members.

Must-Haves Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on the Node.js ecosystem. Language: Mastery of TypeScript is non-negotiable. Technical Depth: Deep understanding of RESTful API design, software architecture patterns, and CI/CD workflows. Mindset: Ability to solve complex problems independently and adapt to the dynamic nature of a high-growth product.

Communication: Fluent English is required to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.

Nice to Have Background in the financial sector (Fintech, Payments, Banking). Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Exposure to microservices architecture or event-driven systems.
