PROJECT INFORMATION: Sector: Pharmaceutical/ FMCG Remuneration: up to 200 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B) Work model: 100% remote Summary:The Senior Azure Data Engineer plays a critical role in supporting global customers in the pharmaceutical and FMCG industries in creating innovative big data products and services. This position focuses on the entire data lifecycle to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.Main Responsibilities:Core duty description includes managing the full data lifecycle from acquisition to visualization, ensuring effective data handling. Working to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. Participating in delivering end-to-end projects. Creating the pipeline for data processing, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services and APIs. Ingesting data sources into data management platforms. Structuring data into a scalable and easily understood architecture. Implementing methodologies and scaling them in line with business needs. Analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of existing solutions. Implementing data quality checks. Designing, managing, and maintaining tools to automate operational processes. Working in a multi-disciplined team to translate data findings into actionable models and insights. Advising clients and proposing improvements through direct contact with stakeholders. Key Requirements: 4+ years of experience in Azure. 5+ years of industrial experience in large-scale data management, visualization, and analytics. Hands-on knowledge of Azure data services like Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Explorer. Experience with analytics, databases, and data systems. Ability to effectively contribute to the analysis and design phases of projects. Good knowledge of SQL and Python. Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub. Experience with projects for international clients. Proactive, goal-oriented, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for discussing technical issues with clients. Very good knowledge of English (and Polish) with the ability to simplify technical topics for the business. Nice to Have: Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code principles (Terraform, Azure ARM, or Bicep). Good understanding of Azure as a platform.
