Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Operations FocusAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a strong operational mindset and solid experience in infrastructure automation. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining the backbone of our development and deployment workflows, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure reliability, CI/CD tooling, and deployment processes. The focus of this position is not on writing application code but on ensuring our systems are robust, repeatable, and scalable.Key Responsibilities Build and maintain infrastructure-focused CI/CD pipelines to support data engineering and software delivery teams Develop tooling and automation to support deployment, monitoring, and configuration management Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement deployment pipelines aligned with modern DevOps best practices Standardize and enforce release workflows for both on-prem and cloud-hosted environments (primarily AWS) Support the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible Improve system reliability and observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting enhancements Integrate automated testing and validation into the deployment lifecycle Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure environments are stable, secure, and performant Actively participate in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and helping development teams debug deployment failures Define and promote standards for infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and release automation Requirements Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#) Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (especially AWS) Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (Groovy pipelines), GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Make) Deep knowledge of source control systems (preferably Git) and branching workflows Expertise in release automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and shell scripting Strong experience with containers and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Familiarity with test automation and integrating test phases into build pipelines A strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to reliability, scalability, and process improvement Previous experience working in agile delivery environments
