We are looking for TEST ENGINEER to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works on the project for Dutch electricity transmission system operator. Our client is one of Europe’s leading electricity transmission system operators, active in the Netherlands and Germany. The company ensures stable and secure energy supply for millions of end-users. As part of its activities, it develops modern IT and digital solutions that support processes related to system balance and the functioning of the energy market.Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test reports, checklists) Ensure quality of delivered software solutions in collaboration with developers and analysts Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution Support knowledge transfer and integration with Dutch teams Gather and interpret business requirements, translate them into IT/system specification Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices  Tech Stack on the project: Test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) Jira / Confluence for agile project management API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) Cloud-based environments (Azure or AWS) Must have requirements: Experience in software testing (manual + automation) Knowledge of test design techniques and defect management Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum) Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) EU citizenship (required for project clearance) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in test environments Ability to distinguish between business, functional, and non-functional requirements Experience in multi-IT environments (apps, portals, back-office systems, hardware communication, third-party integrations) Nice to have requirements: Experience in energy/utilities sector projects Knowledge of balancing processes in energy distribution Familiarity with Dutch language (advantage) Certifications ISTQB or similar Certifications such as IIBA-AAC or IREB-CPR The recruitment process in our company consist of two stages: a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max) one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions) What we offer: BENEFITS (UoP): Luxmed, Medicover Sport, Worksmile, educational platforms, language courses, referral bonus, copyrights, life insurance DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (UoP and B2B): certifications (paid by the company), conferences, Tech Lunches Regardless of the feedback we come back to our candidates.If you find this offer interesting and you would like to learn more about the project, send us your up-dated CV in English containing the clause:  'I agree to the processing by Sopra Steria Polska Sp. z o.o. and other entities within the Sopra Steria Group of my personal data contained in my CV for the purposes of the current recruitment process and future recruitment processes conducted by any entity within the Sopra Steria Group.'
